Actions and Accomplishments

The North Candle private label products

  • Our Nota journals and notebooks are made using 100% Forest Stewardship Council-certified paper.
  • Our Love & Lore sleep and loungewear lines are made from certified materials like organic cotton, TENCEL™ Lyocell and LENZING™ ECOVERO™.
  • Our baby brand, The Littlest, features certified organic cotton.
  • Our newest collection of consciously designed travel goods, Carta, is made with recycled materials.

Our Facilities & Operations

  • We are diverting 90% of waste to compostable or recyclable streams at our distribution centres.
  • We’ve partnered with Habitat for Humanity to provide gift-in-kind donations that support home-building projects across Canada, keeping valuable materials out of landfill.
  • We are now taking steps to eliminate single-use shopping bags. In 2023, we will begin the transition to new reusable bags made from 100% recycled material.
